  • Founding Graduate Chair of PhD in Computer Science at Marquette University
    • I chaired the ad-hoc committee on writing the computer science PhD proposal and was instrumental in starting the first PhD program in COSC at Marquette. The program started in Fall 2019. I am responsible for managing recruitment, TA/RA allocation and general student management. The PhD program was ranked 146 by US News. We are very proud of this considering the program has been around for only three years now. As of Summer 2023, we have graduated 14 students from the PhD program. They are all working in Industry or Academia in research, development or teaching roles. As of Fall 2023, we have 33 full-time and 6 part-time students in the program.
  • Founding Director of MS in Data Science at Marquette University
    • I led the MS in Data Science Program proposal with the help of Drs. Zimmer (Co-chair), Kaczmarek, Guha and Yahyasaltoni. It’s approved effective Fall 2021. I am the Director of MS in Data Science with Dr. Michael Zimmer as the Co-Director.
